Lexus has consistently improved the LC since the sports car’s 2018 arrival, and the 2025 model continues that trend.

Revealed on Friday, the 2025 LC benefits from additional reinforcements to the chassis, a new Iridium exterior paint option, and the addition of an available carbon-fiber door sill plate to the Sport Package.

Pricing is only slightly higher than the previous year, with the LC 500 coupe starting at $100,425 and the LC 500h coupe starting at $103,575.

The convertible is only available in LC 500 form and starts at $107,625 for 2025. All figures include a $1,175 destination charge.

The 2025 LC’s new Iridium paint option is a silver hue available via the LC’s Bespoke Build package. The package also gains red and blue soft-top roof colors as standalone options for anyone combining the package with the LC convertible.

The Bespoke Build package was added for 2024 and offers increased personalization options, including exclusive paint finishes, wheel patterns, and interior trim options, in addition to more color options for the convertible’s roof.

The 2025 LC coupe receives reinforcements to the chassis, which consist of additional front and rear underfloor braces. These help improve rigidity and are part of Lexus’s strategy to increase the sportiness of its vehicles via sharper handling.

The 2025 LC continues with the same good looks as in previous years. The coupe still comes standard with a glass roof that can be swapped out for a lighter carbon-fiber unit. The convertible has an automated soft top that requires 15 seconds to fold down and can be operated at speeds of up to 31 mph.

In the cabin, an uncluttered dash features an 8.0-inch digital gauge cluster and a 12.3-inch touchscreen for the infotainment system. Natural-speak voice activation can also be used to control vehicle functions, and owners can opt for Apple CarPlay or Android Auto. Trim materials include Alcantara and hand-stitched leather, which are joined by dash accents with a satin metallic finish. For 2025, the interior passenger seat panel is now also trimmed in Alcantara.

No change has been made to the powertrains. The 2025 LC is offered with the choice of a 5.0-liter V-8 in the LC 500 or a hybrid setup built around a 3.5-liter V-6 in the LC 500h. In both cases drive is to the rear wheels only.

The LC 500’s V-8 is rated at 471 hp and is mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission as standard. In the LC 500h, a 3.5-liter V-6 and electric motor work together to deliver 354 hp. Here, drive is sent to the wheels via an electronic CVT and a 4-speed automatic, which together simulate the feel of the transmission in the LC 500. The LC 500 is the quicker of the two, delivering 0-60 mph acceleration in about 4.4 seconds.

The 2025 LC range is built in Japan and is scheduled to start sales in the U.S. later this fall.
