Nissan 350Z Morphs Into Mustang, Slams Over A Curb During Car Meet

Offbeat

While the internet likes to make jokes about Ford Mustang drivers routinely crashing while leaving car events, the truth is that owners of all kinds of cars do the same thing. Case in point, the driver of this Nissan 350Z.

This clip appears to have been filmed somewhere in the U.S. and judging by the crowds of people standing on the side of the road, we suspect it occurred at the conclusion of a car meet. Needless to say, things didn’t go well for the 350Z driver.

After pulling out onto the road, it looks as though the driver roasts the clutch while trying to spin up the rear wheels. When the tires finally do lose traction, the sports car’s rear-end kicks out to the right. The driver attempts to countersteer to control the slide but is unable to do so and the Nissan then suddenly kicks to the left and slams over a curb running down the center of the road.

We haven’t been able to find any photos that were taken after the incident so it’s a little hard to determine just how much damage the car has sustained. However, it is possible that it suffered some suspension and wheel damage when hopping over the curb. However, it’s also entirely possible that the sports car escaped without any mechanical damage and only suffered some minor scrapes.

As is so often the case with accidents like this, it seems as though the driver of the 350Z was trying to show off to those watching from the side of the street. Perhaps they’ll learn a valuable lesson from this incident…
