A pair of used-car dealership employees are in hot water after a recent interaction with a customer. When the two parties couldn’t come to an agreement on a deal, the dealer employees allegedly defiled the customer’s license since she’d accidentally left it behind. The employees also happened to record the act and post it online. Now, they’re in court.
The dealership in question is NH Auto Sales of Kenosha WI. The two employees are Bryan Slaven, of Milwaukee, and Zachary Brugioni, of Lake Forest, Il. Each faces charges of being party to a crime (theft), criminal damage to property, and disorderly conduct. The crimes all seem pretty clear in a 46-second video that an anonymous source sent to the license owner, Leah Jefferson.
Jefferson says that she went to NH Auto Sales to look at a Honda Civic. She handed over her license in exchange for the keys to take the car for a test drive. When she returned with the car, she and the dealer couldn’t come to an agreement on the price and she left but forgot to retrieve her license.

Evidently, when she called the dealer about the ID, Slaven told her “I’m not in the office right now. I don’t have your ID, and I won’t be back until Monday.” The two agreed to handle the situation on Monday but shortly thereafter, Jefferson says that an anonymous tipster contacted her with a disturbing video.
In the film, we see a dealership employee, one that Jefferson identifies as Slaven, bending her ID before another urinates on it. “The guy in the bubble vest is his associate or boss; they sell cars together. STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!!” says Jefferson.

According to a criminal complaint obtained by KenoshaNews, Brugioni and Slaven were frustrated with Jefferson because when she returned in the Honda she openly spoke about things that were wrong with it. They say that her actions caused another customer to back out of a deal. The same complaint says that Brugioni admitted to having urinated on the document and that Slaven bent it.
