EV efficiency takes center stage at the Automotive News Europe Congress

On June 13 and 14 in Paris, the annual Automotive News Europe Congress will host a series of top-level presentations, speakers and panel discussions on the theme of Making Sustainability Profitable.

Speakers will include experts and executives from Renault Group, Toyota, Stellantis, Polestar, Ford, Hyundai and more. Join us in Paris to be part of the discussion about key issues driving the industry’s growth and success during this transformative time.

As electric vehicles gain unprecedented market share, the industry’s focus is turning to finding ways to make them more efficient and sustainable. 

As part of the ANE Congress on June 13-14 in Paris, a panel of experts will explore ways to find efficiencies in raw materials extraction, battery assembly and managing the electrons in an EV.

The panel, “The road to sustainable battery production, assembly and usage” will include Anna Sosnowik, business development manager for Europe and the U.K. at Ascend Elements, which makes battery materials using valuable elements reclaimed from discarded lithium-ion batteries; Colin Mackey, managing director of Rio Tinto’s Jadar and European operations; and Sebastian Wolf, chief operations officer at PowerCo, Volkswagen Group’s dedicated battery unit.
