Volkswagen Credit, the captive lending arm for VW Group of America, has named a new CEO, effective June 1.
Ernst Jan van Eijkelenburg, previously regional manager of VW Financial Services China, will take over the top job at the captive, succeeding Jens Effenberger, who will return to VW Financial Services in Braunschweig, the company said.
Also departing June 1 is Kim Airey, VW Credit’s senior vice president for customer experience, strategy and sales. Airey is moving to China to become managing director of Volkswagen Group Import Co., and will resume leadership of Bentley there as its regional director, VW said.
