Opel will be the only one of the 14 Stellantis brands at this year’s IAA auto show in Munich.

Stellantis’ other European brands including Peugeot, Citroen and Fiat will not be present at the event in September, nor will its U.S.-based Jeep off-road marque.

“No other Stellantis brand except Opel will be represented at the IAA,” a Stellantis spokesperson told Automotive News Europe sister publication Automobilwoche.

Opel will use the show to highlight its electrification shift. The brand plans to become an electric-only brand by 2028.

Opel’s new full-electric compact station wagon, the Astra Sports Tourer Electric, will have its public debut in Munich.

An updated battery-electric version of the Corsa small car will also debut. The Corsa Electric has a longer range of 402 km (250 miles) and a new 115 kW/156 hp electric motor.

Opel will also unveil a third world premiere that its says “remains a surprise for now.”

The show, called IAA Mobility, takes place from Sept. 5-10 at Munich’s trade fair grounds in Riem and at locations around the historic city center.

Volkswagen Group, BMW and Mercedes-Benz will be taking part, along with Ford and Renault. Chinese brands will have a strong presence including BYD and First Auto Works’ Hongqi brand.

Suppliers taking part include Robert Bosch, Continental, Forvia, Hyundai Mobis, Magna International, Webasto und ZF. Tech companies attending include Qualcomm, IBM, Samsung, Amazon AWS and Luminar.

The biennial show, which is organized by Germany’s VDA auto association, was traditionally held in Frankfurt, but was moved to Munich in 2021 in a bid to attract more visitors.

Stellantis brands including Opel were not present at the 2021 show in Munich.
