Volvo says the new EX30 small electric SUV is aimed at younger buyers who want sustainable solutions inside their vehicles.
To meet that desire, Volvo used recycled and renewable materials such as denim, flax and wool inside the brand’s entry model.
The person who has played a key role in doing this is interior design head Lisa Reeves, who has helped create the inside environments for Volvo models since arriving from Bentley in 2014.
She joined Automotive News Europe Managing Editor Douglas A. Bolduc for a LinkedIn Live chat on Wednesday, June 7.
The two discussed the key features that make the EX30 special. That includes the multiple “rooms” Volvo has created for the new EX30 and how the Scandinavian landscape inspired the small electric SUV’s different ambient lighting themes.
