Hyundai has decided to sweeten the deal on its 2025 Ioniq 5 N.

The automaker last week announced an offer for buyers of the high-performance electric compact crossover that lets them choose between a complimentary Level 2 home charger or a $450 charging credit.

Anyone who has already purchased a 2025 Ioniq 5 N can still take up the offer, though they will need to do so by Oct. 14, 2024.

The charging credit is managed by ChargePoint and can be used at multiple charging networks that ChargePoint includes in its app, including EVgo, Shell Recharge, and ChargePoint’s own network. More than 75,000 chargers across the country are covered.

Opting for the home charger will require installation by a Hyundai Home service provider at extra cost, Hyundai said.

The 2025 Ioniq 5 N is priced from $67,495, including a $1,395 destination charge, and already offers plenty of appeal without the incentive. Its dual-motor all-wheel-drive system generates a peak 641 hp, or enough to deliver supercar-like acceleration. An 84-kwh battery provides an estimated 221 miles of range.

Buyers interested in the regular Ioniq 5 can look forward to an updated range for 2025, as well as production in the U.S. The updates include bigger batteries, slightly revised styling inside and out, and a new rugged model badged an XRT.
