The Tesla Cybertruck, unveiled in concept form two years ago, is not yet available for sale but its crazy angular design has inspired many different products including Tesla’s own Cyberquad for Kids and Cyberwhistle.
With winter already here and snow starting to cover a lot of states, independent company Spyker Workshop presented the CyberKAT, a remote-controlled fully electric snowcat that looks like a mini Cybertruck on tracks.
The CyberKAT measures 29 inches (73.7 cm) long, 19 inches (48.3 cm) wide, and 9.5 inches (24.1 cm) tall. The tracks in combination with the 4.25-inch (10.8 cm) ground clearance make it perfect for driving on the snow, as showcased by the video.

The model is based on an aluminum sheet metal frame, and comes with triangular-shaped surfaces and LED lighting units resembling a squashed Cybertruck. Under the easily removable top lid cover we find four 12V SLA batteries strapped with Velcro, 775 size brushless electric motors, a custom CNC aluminum transmission with high-speed or high-torque settings, and PCB circuit boards for the lights.
While this is the standard configuration, the model is compatible with other types of batteries and e-motors according to the preferences of each owner. It also has a trailer hitch that is designed for the CyBlower, a future snow blower that is currently under development from the same company. The CyBlower will increase the usability of the CyberKAT, allowing it to clean up your front yard while having fun.

The creator of the CyberKAT is Ryan Butler, who has already built three prototypes using 3D-printed test parts and will soon start production with injection molding in Acetal Delrin. He is also working on the instruction manual since the CyberKAT will require assembly. From the pictures he posted online we can see a model with orange livery which could hint at multiple colors being offered besides the classic aluminum silver.
Unlike the Cybertruck that has been delayed, the CyberKAT will be shipping to its first owners in January or February 2022. The model is already available to pre-order with prices ranging between $1,299 and $1,499 depending on the configuration.
