Nissan performance sub-brand Nismo turned 40 this year, and Nissan is celebrating with the launch of more parts for its growing range of Nismo Heritage Parts.

As the name suggests, Nismo Heritage Parts consists of Nismo parts for classic Nissans, namely the R32-R34 generations of the Skyline GT-R, whose production run ran from the late 1980s to the early 2000s.

Most of the new parts are bolt-on items, and they include both cosmetic items as well as performance upgrades. Some choice items include the iconic NE-1 stainless steel exhaust system for the R32 GT-R, which The Drive notes meets modern emissions rules.

There’s also an intake manifold that can fit any GT-R with the RB26DETT twin-turbocharged 2.6-liter inline-6. It features an enlarged surge tank that Nissan says has been optimized for engines tuned to deliver 400-600 hp. The stock RB26DETT is officially rated at 276 hp, though the real-world figure is closer to 330 hp.

Anyone looking to dress up their car while also adding performance can opt for the Nismo intercooler. It fits the R32 and R32 GT-R models, and features a retro Nismo script in big, bold letters. The Nismo script is found on many of the other parts, including a cool titanium tower brace for the R32 GT-R.

There are parts for the interior, too, like a Nismo steering wheel and Nismo seat covers. And even buyers on a tight budget have some options, like a titanium shift knob, and shift lever and handbrake boots. Those items start from just over $160.

The parts will be available to order via the Nismo website starting late this year. They will also be available via some of Nismo’s partners, like HPI Corporation and Tomei Powered.

Nissan isn’t the only automaker offering parts for classic cars. Toyota has launched parts for classic Supras and Mazda has parts for its early Miatas.
