Police officers from Oregon recently had to use at least seven spike strips on a speeding vehicle before they could finally stop and arrest the driver.

Deputies from the Josephine County Sheriff’s Office first spotted a woman driving at 112 mph (180 km/h) on Friday on I-5 South near the town of Merlin, shortly before midnight. Despite attempts to force the driver to pull over, she refused and quickly crossed county lines, prompting the Jackson County Sheriff’s Department to continue the pursuit.

The car was spiked multiple times during the chase but the determined driver kept on chugging along with no tires. However, before long, officers performed a PIT maneuver on the car and were able to stop it.
