A YouTuber is in hot water after uploading a video in which he claimed to have completed the approximately 70-mile (113 km) journey from Colorado Springs to Denver, Colorado, in just 20 minutes. For context, mere mortals would spend over an hour on this journey. Adding to the drama, the police have issued an arrest warrant for the motorcycle rider.
The motorcyclist, identified by the Colorado State Patrol as Rendon Dietzmann, a 32-year-old from Texas, can be seen reaching speeds of up to 173 mph (278 km/h) on Interstate 25, weaving through traffic, and lane splitting, which ultimately enabled him to complete the journey in approximately one-third of the time it typically takes commuters.
Authorities say Dietzmann published the incriminating footage of himself on his YouTube channel, Gixxer Brah. Although the video, titled “From Colorado Springs to Denver in 20 Minutes,” has been removed from YouTube, fragments of it are still circulating online and have been shared by Colorado prosecutors.

Investigators have now filed an arrest warrant against Dietzmann in El Paso County, reports 9News. He is being charged with seven counts, including menacing/placing another person in fear of imminent serious bodily injury, engaging in a speed contest, reckless endangerment, reckless driving, speeding 40 mph (65 km/h) over the limit, engaging in exhibition of speed, and operating a vehicle with no number plate attached.

“This is an extreme example, but sadly a real one,” State Patrol Sgt. Troy Kessler said. “If you drive like this, you can expect to be arrested when you are located. This is the best outcome for a person who drives violently since the smallest mistake could result in his death or that of an innocent person in the area.”
In the video shared by prosecutors, it can be seen that the rider on the motorcycle isn’t even wearing leathers as he weaves through traffic and passes other vehicles at great speed. While some may argue that a jacket would do little to protect the rider at such speeds, I suspect that there are plenty of MotoGP racers who might disagree.
More than just endangering himself, the video also shows that he is putting others motorists in danger. Unfortunately, this appears to be of little concern to Dietzmann, who reportedly posted about the arrest warrant on social media.
