The Range Rover Sport lineup was expanded for 2024 with a 626-hp performance flagship model dubbed the SV, but getting your hands on one wasn’t easy as JLR offered the SUV via invite only.

Buyers that missed out will be glad to know that the Range Rover Sport SV makes its return for the 2025 model year. The latest version is dubbed the SV Edition Two, and buyers have four design themes or curations to choose from. They are built around the colors Blue Nebula Matte, Ligurian Black Gloss, Marl Grey Gloss and Sunrise Copper Satin.

No change has been made to the mechanicals. The Range Rover Sport SV Edition Two draws power from a BMW-sourced twin-turbocharged 4.4-liter V-8. The engine, rated at 626 hp in this application, has a mild-hybrid system and mates to an 8-speed automatic and standard all-wheel-drive system.

Further performance gains come from weight saving measures totaling 167.6 pounds. These include, either as standard or available, lightweight options like a carbon-fiber hood, carbon-fiber wheels, and carbon-ceramic brake rotors. The standard rubber is Michelin’s Pilot Sport All Season 4 tire.

Top performance includes 0-60 mph acceleration in 3.6 seconds and a maximum speed of 180 mph, according to JLR.

Inside, there are body-hugging front seats that are exclusive to the SV. The 16-way adjustable seats feature integrated headrests, carbon-fiber seat backs, an illuminated SV logo, and more sculpted bolsters. They also come with JLR’s Body and Soul Seat technology. It relies on transducers built inside the seat to generate vibrations to let you “feel” the beat of a song. However, there’s also a wellness program designed to reduce stress and increase relaxation by influencing the variation in time between heartbeats.

Order books for the Range Rover Sport EV Edition Two are already open and prices start at $184,325, including a $1,625 destination charge.
