Florida-based Apocalypse Manufacturing has released another 6-wheeled creation. This time it’s a Land Rover Defender dubbed “World Ender.”

Apocalypse claims to be the first to build a 6×6 version of the current-generation Defender. The goal was to create a rival to the Mercedes-Benz G 63 AMG 6×6 that has become a high-value collectible since its brief production run about a decade ago.

The 6×6 conversion retains the Defender’s third-row seats while adding a 4-foot pickup bed. The rear axles are mounted on a tubular subframe, and the rearmost axle can be disengaged from the drivetrain to help improve fuel economy. That’s never likely to be spectacular, though, as Apocalypse retained the supercharged 5.0-liter V-8 from the stock Defender with the same 518-hp output.

The World Ender rides on an air suspension that can raise or lower the ride height by 8 inches, along with a lift kit fabricated in-house by Apocalypse. The suspension lift, along with fender flares that widen the vehicle by 2 feet, makes room for 38-inch tires mounted on 20-inch wheels. A roll cage covering the bed, a push bar, side steps, and a roof rack complete the exterior modifications.

Apocalypse is taking orders for the Defender 6×6 now. Pricing starts at $374,999, which surpasses even the $297,999 cost of the Ram 1500 TRX-based Juggernaut 6×6 the company unveiled in 2022.

Land Rover fans willing to stick with four wheels now also have the option of the 2025 Defender Octa, a factory off-road performance model with a twin-turbocharged 4.4-liter V-8 that, along with a mild-hybrid system, generates 626 hp.
