PARIS — Vincent Piquet has been promoted to CFO of the Renault brand from CFO global sales and marketing, Renault Group said.

Piquet, 47, will become a member of Renault’s management board and report to CEO Luca de Meo as well as group CFO Thierry Pieton. He starts in his new position on April 1.

Before joining Renault Group in 2019, Piquet held finance-related positions at GE for two decades. He started his career there in 1999 as an audit manager, according to Renault and his LinkedIn page, and worked in management in Turkey, the UK, Italy and France, where he was named CFO of GE Healthcare Europe in 2018.

He started at Renault Group as CFO Europe and was named to his current post in January 2021.

The CFO post at Renault brand was held temporarily by Laurent David, former CFO at Lada/Dacia, who in February was named group director for performance and control.
