A car hauler that was loaded with BMWs, Cadillacs, Mercedes, Range Rovers, and more was blown apart by a commuter train in Florida after becoming stuck at a crossing on April 12. Despite the carnage, no one of was injured in the incident.

Footage of the accident was filmed by Alexander Quintero, who said he was waiting at the lights in Hollywood, Florida, when he noticed that something was amiss with the truck. Then he noticed the train coming, and dread set in.

The trucker “tried to continue going forward and I noticed his wheels started to spin and he was not moving at all,” Quintero told Fox13. “I realized that he was stuck on the railroad. I looked on my mirror and I noticed the light of the train coming behind me, that is when I thought something was about to happen.”

Although the train attempted to use its horn to warn the truck to move out of the way, there was nothing the driver could do. With the train moving too quickly to stop, and the truck immobile, the violent collision was inevitable.

The crash was powerful enough to tear the rear section of the trailer clean off the truck. Only one Range Rover and one BMW SUV remained attached to the tractor cab, while several other vehicles went flying through the air.

Shots of the aftermath show cars on their side with wheels hanging off of them. One vehicle’s hood is folded into a peak. Other vehicles could be seen being crunched by the train engine, and the following cars.

Alarmingly, the impact can also be seen affecting the train, which bounced and heaved as a result of the accident. Although damage is less extensive, as a commuter train, its passengers and conductor could have easily been hurt in the incident.

Fortunately, Brightline said that no one on the train was injured in the incident, which occurred at around 7:45 p.m. on Wednesday, April 12. By Thursday, April 13 at 8:00 a.m., it resumed normal operations, an impressive feat given the record rainfall that the area was enduring at the time of the accident.
