The Jeep Wrangler has long been revered as one of the most capable off-road vehicles on the market, inspiring countless builds. Yet, a Wrangler JK owner from Morocco took things in a wildly different direction, chopping both the body and chassis to create what’s now being dubbed the world’s skinniest Jeep.

This bizarre yet intriguing conversion was spotted by photographer Mohamed Saber, who shared a viral video of the ultra-slim machine on Instagram. Saber was gracious enough to provide Carscoops with detailed photos and a video, confirming that the offbeat Jeep is 100% real—and not some elaborate CGI prank.
A Wrangler Unlike Any Other
The warped proportions of this heavily modified Wrangler leave onlookers staring in disbelief, many convinced they’re seeing an AI-generated illusion. While we have seen narrow vehicles before, it’s hard to wrap your head around a Wrangler barely wider than a motorcycle, hugging the road tighter than even a Renault Twizy.
A large portion of the Wrangler’s midsection has been completely removed, necessitating a significant overhaul to the exterior, interior, and mechanical setup. Up front, the Jeep’s iconic seven-slot grille is gone, replaced by headlights that are nearly kissing each other, with the Jeep emblem squashed between them in a strange, comical display of minimalism.
Unconventional Seating
Inside, the custom Wrangler has the driver driver seated solo at the front and an additional passenger sitting directly behind. Needless to say, practicality has been greatly compromised, but at least the driver can enter and exit the vehicle from both sides. The rear end looks even more toy-like, with the original spare wheel still in place, perched beneath a shrunken hardtop that only adds to the quirky, scaled-down vibe.
Saber told us that the skinny Wrangler retains the original 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 engine, which is good for 280 hp (209 kW / 284 PS) and 353 Nm (260 lb-ft) of torque. While it is hard to believe that a V6 still fits in such a narrow space, the sound of the video above confirms the presence of an ICE motor.
Besides the packaging, the biggest challenge appears to be the center of gravity, with the narrow tracks not being a good match for a tall vehicle with a generous ground clearance. Physics tells us that this combination makes the skinny Jeep prone to tipping over, requiring extra attention from the driver in every single turn. But then again, this feels more like a whimsical project than a serious off-roader, so we doubt the owner’s losing sleep over handling issues.
Interestingly, the Moroccan license plate of the ultra-narrow vehicle reads 42205, which is very similar to the 42200 of the world’s widest Wrangler made of two conjoined vehicles. Saber confirmed that the two Wranglers belong to the same collection, proving that the owner has a penchant for oddball Jeep creations. These polar opposites sit side by side, showing just how wildly different two Wranglers can be in terms of width.
