You Could Soon Live In A Fiat-Themed Apartment In New Jersey | Carscoops
The company’s Fiat House project will see the construction of an apartment complex with over 300 units and Fiat design language at its core

Fiat is getting into the apartment business. In 2024, the Italian automaker plans to open an apartment building called Fiat House to coincide with the U.S. launch of the all-electric 500e. Its location in Fort Lee, New Jersey was picked strategically, as it not only sits at the meeting of 8 major highways, but it also places residents just a short drive away from New York City (excluding traffic, of course).
The apartment complex is planned to feature over 300 residences, some of which will come fully furnished. These furnishings, as well as the layout of the apartments, are said to be representative of the Fiat 500‘s distinctive design and efficient use of space. Buyers will have the choice between renting a studio, a one-bedroom, or a two-bedroom apartment.

Beyond the apartments themselves, the Fiat House will include an “array of amenities and social spaces” to foster a sense of community in the living space. The complex will also operate an on-site car-sharing service with a fleet made up entirely of – you guessed it – Fiat 500es.
We’ve seen other ventures like this before from luxury marques such as Porsche and Aston Martin, but this is the first time we’ve seen such a move from a more value-oriented brand like Fiat. There aren’t any photos yet of what these apartments will look like on the inside, but we’re interested to find out. Thankfully, UNLMTD Real Estate, the company working in partnership with Fiat to bring this project to life, says there will be more information to come early next year.
“Fiat is a love brand around the world and our partnership with UNLMTD has created a very unique opportunity to showcase what Fiat stands for: sustainable mobility with optimistic, forward-looking living,” said Fiat CEO Olivier Francois. “We are thrilled to be at the forefront of this natural collaboration, which is bolstered by the simultaneous Grand Opening of Fiat House and launch of the new Fiat 500e for North America early next year.”
