Zipper Merge Sparks Road Rage Crash Caught On Dashcam | Carscoops
After causing the accident, the woman appeared to act as if it was the other driver’s fault

Nearly everyone has an opinion on zipper merging etiquette and when to switch lanes. However, many drivers like to change lanes early and then get annoyed with those who don’t switch until the last minute.
While some might consider that rude, the Minnesota Department of Transportation says: “As you see the ‘lane closed ahead’ sign and traffic backing up, stay in your current lane up to the point of merge. Then take turns with other drivers to safely and smoothly ease into the remaining lane.” If properly executed, drivers should be safe and on their way relatively quickly.

However, some drivers don’t believe that’s how you should act and will rage if you merge in front of them at the last moment. That’s reportedly what happened in this video that surfaced on Reddit.
As you can see in the video below, a line of cars is approaching a construction zone so the dashcam-equipped vehicle waits their turn and then gets into the left lane. Shortly thereafter, a white Toyota Camry can be seen passing the vehicle on the left shoulder and then cutting in front of a Honda Civic.

While that should seemingly end the freakout, the woman wasn’t a Frozen fan and wouldn’t let it go. After exiting a tunnel, she gets into the right lane and waits until the dashcam-equipped car catches up. She then cuts the other driver off and slams on the brakes causing a collision.
The man understandably swears in frustration, while the woman exits the Camry and then appears to scream at the victim as if it was his fault. However, that isn’t the worst part as the woman apparently had a small child in the car at the time.
As a result, it seems like she risked not only her life but that of her child as well. That’s the thing the really got Redditors upset and it’s not hard to understand why. Thankfully, no one was harmed in this road rage incident – apart from the Camry and the Civic, that is.
